This past weekend we traveled to Barcelona, in the northeast of Spain. What we think of as Spanish, Castellano, is not the main language there. Instead people speak Catalán, although everyone there can also speak Castellano and sometimes English as well.
(Catalán is first, Spanish second, and English third)
The first place we visited was the Sagrada Familia, a huge church designed by Gaudi. It has been over 100 years since they started builing it, and it is still not done yet.
The view from the towers is impressive,
although the stairs down were a bit scary.
